This work is inspired by the ink wash paintings we see in Asian culture (hence the muted color palette and use of magnolia flowers). I admire the regal sense of animals depicted and flow of nature.

These two peacocks have made their nest in heaven. The tail morphs into a waterfall – symbolizing the symbiotic relationships animals have with the natural world.

Could it be their love and warmth raining down from the sky into our world?
